The smallest alpha-hydroxy acid molecule, derived from sugar cane. Penetrates deeply and resurfaces aggressively, also stimulates dermal collagen at higher concentrations.
Loosens corneodesmosomes in the stratum corneum, accelerating desquamation. At higher % stimulates dermal collagen via fibroblast activation.
