How It Works

A glycosylated derivative of hydroquinone that brightens hyperpigmentation safely, without hydroquinone's regulated safety concerns.

Competitively inhibits tyrosinase, slowing the rate-limiting step of melanin biosynthesis. The alpha-isomer is roughly 10× more potent than beta-arbutin.
