How It Works

An oral tetracycline antibiotic. At sub-antimicrobial doses (40mg), it's used long-term for rosacea and inflammatory acne without resistance.

At antimicrobial doses, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis; at sub-microbial doses, inhibits MMPs and inflammation.
